Hell in a Handbasket- This Way, Please!
:(
I know I'm following on from a theme covered by many of late, but it doesn't look that good for the world right now, does it?
Morbid? Doom and Gloom? Don't know about you, but I feel like I'm walking a tightrope between James Herbert's "Rats" Trilogy and the last 28 minutes of "Ghostbusters". How the hell are we supposed to not be nervous right now?

Not even taking into account the slew of horrific tragedies currently unfolding at a daily rate across the globe, and of course the increasingly violent local climate, I think that my personal odds of involvement are most likely split between the following: An impending Nuclear Holocaust (compliments of Mr. B. Laden) ; a major earthquake, due any day, apparently, which will destroy the whole country; or, the front-running favourite, Avian Flu. The way my luck has been going of late, I'd doubtless be among the 94% of Israeli Citizens who won't be provided any drugs in the event of an epidemic. Big Fat Cheers, Ministry of Health!

Yes, and I hear you nearly had a plane land on your freeway!! I am totally fed up with the world. It's not the fault of the ordinary citizen. We are being pushed to the limit here and it really is droning on and on with disaster after horror after disaster! Slap on a happy face , heh?!!! Test of our inner fortitude??
