London Calling

Yeah, I'm outta this joint: Well, frankly, without making light of the mortal threats/imminent demise of the local poultry industry, it is admittedly getting somewhat dangerous to be a carefree parrot in these parts at the moment, what with the scary increase in fatalities amongst my cousins down south.

(Although- correct me if I'm wrong- I do believe that the only case of Bird Flu to be discovered in England so far was in a... Parrot. At customs. So I guess I'd best be on my guard at the airport tomorrow.)

I'm joking, I'm not actually leaving the Holy Land because of Bird Flu (which I learned yesterday is Influenza Al-Tuyur in Arabic. Aren't I just a mine of information?) And I'm not actually "leaving" either: I'm ducking out for a quickie: family matters call me Land of Hope And Glory-ward for a short sojourn, wherein I also look forward to catching up on all the gossip, inspecting new offspring and, of course, several rounds of mournful and depressing window-shopping. And lets not forget to play "How many cities can she visit in a week?" I'll open at 5- place your bets!
