Here's Tony and Dubya caught off the record at the G8 prior to their press conference: Priceless entertainment for these times of high stress.
I'm still deciding what my favourite part is: "Yo, Blair", "This trade thingy" or "Bashad", which one would hope is simply GWB's pet name for the Syrian president, Dr. Bashar Assad.
It is comforting to know that all around the free world, humankind can feel safe and secure regarding the calibre of our leadership.

If you thought the fact that Bush dropping the S-bomb was going to set the American media a-tizzy, think again! A commentator on CNN tonight decided to focus on criticizing el Presidente for actually speaking to his homeboy Blair with his mouth full! I wish I could make this stuff up.

Geneticists like to rave about the fact that we share 90% (or whatever) of our genes with crabs and what have you. The Chief Rabbi comments that surely we should be focusing on that 10% of genetic material which makes all the difference, that which makes us capable of so much more. I feel the same way about chimps and poodles.

Soooo disapointing that our leaders, who wish to be taken seriously, use such turns of phrase as Yo Blair (which gets my vote for non cool person of the year). I cannot believe such inadeqacy of expression !!! Very unleadylike, I must say. Hope you are okay. Am thinking of you every day.
