Sweet and Sour

Fear not, I didn't take all that depressing reporting too much to heart. I've just had a crazy week, - but thanks for all the concern and love (you know who you are)

And what do we do when the going gets tough in Slightly Madland? You know it! I was very grateful for the much-needed Sugar Rush this morning in the form of a "Vanilla Flute", a member of the Galaxy Family previously unbeknown to me, and, which last I checked, not even available in the UK. Isn't it just great to be me! Just as well that they don't seem to sell them in the Western part of the city, or else those Click bars of chunk-less fame might get jealous of this shift in affection.

So it goes without saying that I will be skipping Diet Club again tomorrow. Last week, we had to go round the circle and answer the question: "if you were a Dried Fruit, what would you be?" Answering "Stoned Prune" was perhaps not the best idea: It led to CrazyLady frowning with simultaneous manic grin (I kid you not. I maintain, she is not of this earth) and then later, out of earshot from the rest of the group, an an open invitation to a "private session" at her home. The mind boggles. (And why me? Why not the woman who said "Craisins"? Or the one who said what we were all thinking: "Eh?")

Thankfully, I managed to move my head in what I hope she percieved as an ambivalent nod in order to prevent blurting out that I would rather attempt to remove my internal organs one by one with a cake fork.

Anyway, I need to sleep this week off before I can attain prior levels of coherence. Enjoy your weekends, y'all.
