Seven Blessings
7 things which have rocked my world over the last few weeks:
One Spa Day at the Dead Sea. Who knew that an Aromatherapy massage and hour-long jacuzzi was the solution to all of life's problems?
Two brand new Baby nieces. Oh, the life of the distant Aunty: Can share telephonically in the blessings and the joys- and not a dirty nappy in sight.
Three Taxi journeys to and from the windscreen repair place. And as a special bonus- 3 choice comments:
Four Thousand visitors to this blog. Don't know who you all are -or why you haven't ALL signed the guestmap ;) -but thank you for making me feel popular and special. Even if you've just alighted and fled having clicked on "Next Blog".
Five Indian meals in 15 days. Spanning two time zones, mind. Impressive or Excessive? The jury is still out.
Six minutes of watching "American Idol" prior to onset of clinical addiction. Harry may well be right re Nadia choosing the wrong song, but that doesn't make the fact hat she was robbed easier to bear. And I agree, Scott should not be there! And Bo (Bice) doesn't even want to damn well be there! And Constantine... will pay for what he inflicted upon Bo (Rhap)- Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but he will pay. I don't care what Simon says.
Seven Sheva Berachot (Jewish Marriage Blessings) under my jurisdiction at Recent Wedding, involving, among other adventures: inadvertantly spilling red wine onto someone's very expensive chiffon dress; repeatedly destabilising the Groom's brother with the microphone cable; causing a grown man to wince and place his fingers in his ears- twice!; and getting in a fight with the DJ. But all said, it seemed to make the Bride's mother smile. And of course, the beautiful Bride and very organized Groom.
There was also this show, this magazine (no, you don't have to buy it) and these, which make up for lost Quavers/Bears. But that makes more than seven things... I should have learned by now not to play with numbers.

- "You married? I'm divorced. Twice. My last wife looked a bit like you. But she was thinner."
- "Want to come to a party in the forest with me and smoke drugs?"
- (On the way back) "You shouldn't use this guy, I know him, he's just a criminal, trust me. Next time, call me, I'll send you to my brother."

What, and the groom wasn't beautiful? I especially paid for a haircut for the occasion.

I actually originally wrote "organized and extremely dapper Groom" but then I worried you'd think I was over-compensating.
Sorry. Don't worry- I'm being punished in the form of wheat-free matza.
