West(Midland)ward, Ho!

A short note with not much to declare: I'm leaving on a Jet Plane in a few hours, up through the atmosphere, up where the air is clear- of tangible political tensions, at least.


For those of you who have recently tuned in, feel free to hark back to the official reason behind these travels. But notwithstanding the (at time of press, still) impending Aunty-age, as it goes I am really looking forward to a few days away from all the madness. I appreciate that long weekends in Brum don't generally engender such levels of excitement, but this time I can't wait!
